Bio – Lisa Michael
Lisa Michael is the founding partner of the Law Offices of Lisa Michael & Associates. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and has spent over a decade practicing law throughout the New York State courts, including courts in Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, the Bronx, and Staten Island. She attended New York Law School, where she was the President of the Domestic Violence Association. She also interned at the Richmond County District Attorney’s office where she co-authored several appellate briefs and worked directly with Deputy Chief of Sex Crimes Special Victims Bureau. Lisa Michael was admitted to the New York and the New Jersey Bar in 2004.
Since her admission to the Bar, Lisa Michael has devoted herself to representing clients and families to recover verdicts and claims involving serious fatalities. Her practice areas include automobile accidents, construction site accidents, premises liability, airline negligence, products liability, discrimination, and medical malpractice.
Her zealous advocacy has helped families to recover substantial settlements for the tragedies they suffered. She has handled cases involving serious fatalities. Her verdicts and settlements have been published in various legal publications, including Verdict Search, Jury Verdict, and Review Analysis.
Lisa Michael is a member of several Bar associations, including the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and the New York State Bar Association. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Brooklyn Women’s Bar. Lisa Michael also devotes herself to performing pro bono work. She is fluent in Hebrew.
